Well done to the Year 12's who secured the Barry Elmore Cup, following a very tight match. Both sides played with great spirit in a tightly fought contest which could have gone either way. In the end it was the general all round fitness which sealed the fate for the Year 13's as the 12's had that little bit extra in the tank. Worthy of mention was Russ Fletcher who scored two sublime goals for the Year 13's and Jarred holmes with the worst timed tackle of all time.
The event was well attended by spectators who made voluntary contributions to raise funds and awareness of the VIRS charity (supporting families and patients going through kidney transplants), which has been brought to our attention through our close ties to Simon Elmore, World Transplant Athlete and son of Barry.
A great time was had by all who were involved in the annual Barry Elmore Cup between Year 12's and 13's. As ever a fiercely contested game and close until the second half when the Year 12's fitness started to make the difference. This years event was also held to show support to this years Sports Relief.

Well done to both the participants and organisers of the excellent Master Chef competition held amongst the Sixth Formers. The food was quite simply exquisite and all were deserving of the high praise given by the highly critical judges including Mr Cooper. Congratulations go to the overall winners Amelia and Savannah whose dishes combined both presentation skills and taste to die for. The event was run very professionally by the Business Studies students. "Cooking does not get tougher than this" !!! Photos of the event
